Barack Obama wins election

“Yes we can,” cried crowds nationwide as Barack Obama trumped John McCain in Tuesday night’s presidential election. Obama, the 47-year-old first term senator, won the popular vote and electoral vote by an overwhelming majority becoming the nation’s first black president.
